67:1-2 God’s acts on behalf of his people have the greater purpose of bringing others into fellowship with him (see note at 30:9-10).
67:3-5 The praise of the nations accomplishes the goal of bringing the whole world into the recognition of the Lord’s sovereignty (cp. “fear” in v. 7; see note at 22:27-31).
67:6 Harvest indicates the exact blessing that is the main point of this psalm. The blessing of one’s crops was an outworking of God’s covenant with his people as long as they were obedient to him (Dt 28:4).
