The Galilee Boat

The Galilee Boat was discovered in January 1986 by Yuvi and Moshe Lufan, two second-generation fishermen. Extracting the boat required extraordinary care followed by a lengthy process of restoration. This fishing boat is dated to the first century AD. It can be seen at Yigal Alon Museum, Kibbuz Ginnossar, Israel.
